Land on Repeal of DADT
Last December, the U.S. Congress effectively placed the Don’t Ask Don’t Tell policy, established in 1993, on life support, pending certification from the president and the heads of the military that a repeal of the policy, which allowed homosexual members of the military to serve but not to openly practice their homosexuality, would not harm the nation’s military readiness. more »
