Supreme Court rejects appeal on VMI prayer
The U.S. Supreme Court has turned back an attempt by Virginia Military Institute to reinstate mealtime prayers.
The high court announced April 26 it would not review a decision by the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals that the traditional invocation at VMI’s supper roll call ceremony was a violation of the Constitution’s ban on government establishment of religion. more »
