The Faith of George W. Bush

Dec 6–7, 2007 - comments: 2

The influence of faith in the public square is certainly not a new concept in the United States, but time has not diminished the controversy surrounding the faith of some political candidates.

As conversations about the 2008 election continues to focus extensively on matters of faith, we thought is appropriate to air on of Dr. Land’s “classic” For Faith & Family interviews, focusing on the role of faith in the American president.

Today Dr. Land’s special guest is Dr. Stephen Mansfield, founder and director of the Mansfield Group, an organization that provides strategic education to corporations and religious organizations. He is also an author of several books which examine the role of faith and hardship in fashioning leaders. He has a new book titled The Faith of George W. Bush. He joins us today to talk about what he has learned about our nation’s Chief Executive.

The country seems to be fascinated with this side of the President. And that has been both positive and negative. Stephen Mansfield done a lot of research and reading, and has talked to many, many people close to the President, and he joins us today to share what he has learned.

What you will love about what Stephen Mansfield will share with us today is seeing how the hand of God has moved in so many events and so many people to bring George W. Bush to Himself. He does that for each of us, doesn’t He?
