The Ever-Loving Truth

Apr 3, 2007 - comments: 2

Narrow-minded, intolerant, and bigoted are just some of the adjectives used to describe Christians today. Our faith is constantly challenged by a culture that embraces all lifestyles and religions and rejects the idea of absolute truth.

On today’s For Faith and Family, Dr. Land is going to visit with Dr. Voddie Baucham about where we fit in a post-Christian culture. Voddie has become one of the most sought-after Bible teachers in America. Today he is going to share how the Culture may be changing the Church more than Church is changing the Culture…and what we can do about that.

My decipleship training class and I are now doing the ever loving truth study Oh my Voddie Baucham is GREAT, I wish there were more christians like him out there not sugar coating just straight how it is.  We watched either week 6 of the series tonight and he was asking people on the streets about what they thought about Jesus and like so many answers you hear today he was just a good man, a good prophet and a good teacher BUT he did not die for our sins and Voddie’s reply for this was basically if he didnt die then he is a lier and a false prophet which means good teachers dont lie, good prophets are not false prophets.  IDK God has given this man a gift and I am so glad that I have come across his study it has truly changed my walk with Jesus and gave me a new view of how to read the bible and worship.  Thanks Voddie
