Sitting down to read a novel is an escape to far away times and places for many of us. But Dan Brown’s popular book The Da Vinci code is blurring the lines between fact and fiction. His claims of conspiracy in the early church are being treated as fact even though they are riddled with flimsy evidence and blatant falsehoods.
