The Christmas Cross

Today we want to share a story with you called The Christmas Cross (now The Christmas Child) by Max Lucado. It is a fantastic story that is sure to touch your heart. Reg Grant is going to read the book for us today in a radio theatre style. This has become one of my favorite Christmas stories, and I’m sure it will become one of your favorites as well.

The Christmas Cross is a story told in the context of a Chicago journalist who finds himself in a small Texas town on Christmas eve. Lonely and alone, he encounters old faces and new facts, a hand-carved manger, a father’s guilt, a young girl’s faith. This trip into the past holds his key to the future, and a scarlet cross shows him the way home.

It tells the story of a lonely man finding his way back home through the redemptive promises of the Jesus and his death on the cross. This story tells the story of Jesus’ death and saving grace set in the Christmas season.

From all of the family at For Faith and Family, have a very merry Christmas.

It’s our prayer that you will find your way home this Christmas.

I have heard this story on radio before and was wondering if the reading was available for purchase.  I can not read it with the feeling that Mr. Grant gives the story.
I would like to share it with someone who won’t take the time to read it, but might sit and listen to it.
Thank you for what you do,

Mike

I really enjoyed the christmas cross.  I wanted my daughter to hear it online but only the 2nd days broadcast (part 2) in available.  Could you fix this problem or is it deliberate.

Thank you and God Bless
