The ACLU Vs. America

Nov 19–20, 2007 - comments: 2

Most Americans believe the American Civil Liberties Union exists to stick up for the little guy. Yet few know that the ACLU is actively striving to eliminate the freedoms of millions of Americans. Our guest today is Alan Sears, President, CEO, and Chief Counsel of the Alliance Defense Fund. Alan has written The ACLU vs America, a very informative and revealing book on the true agenda of the American Civil Liberties Union.

Many simply believe that the ACLU started out as a good, pro-America, pro-liberty organization that somehow got off track. But today I want us to take a closer look at the ACLU’s roots, and I want our listeners to be informed about the true agenda of this organization. Many of its platforms absolutely collide with the basic values, freedoms and rights that millions of Americans have been willing to give their lives for in wars fought around the world. We are engaged in a battle like none other we have had; and the battle ground is in our courts, in our schools, and even within our own families.

It will take sacrifice, perseverance, and a concerted effort by millions of Americans to defeat the ACLU, its many allies, and their agenda. But with God’s grace, we are confident it can and will be done.
