Spiritual Leadership

Many people don’t see themselves as leaders, but in reality we all have circles of influence. We may not be corporate CEOs, but we are co-workers, teachers, parents and friends. Today’s guest on For Faith & Family is here to help us be the leaders God intends for us to be. Dr. Richard Blackaby has served as the president of Blackaby Ministries International since 2006. He is the oldest child of Henry and Marilynn Blackaby and has co-authored several books with his father, including Spiritual Leadership: Moving People onto God’s Agenda and Experiencing God: Revised Edition. Join us as we discover what it takes to be a spiritual leader.

I am a registered nurse who heard this interview on 91.9 in Lafayette,LA. was it was so awe inspiring because I am a baby Christian going on a medical mssion trip in September to Moldova and I am thinking, :What AM I DOING> I am just a baby christian. I needed to hear this tonight and realized that I have not had the nurturing like a baby and I think I will let my church know this. I admit that I don’t daily read God’s word and am hungry to know what he has for me. I am 61 yrs old and am still searching!
Thank you again,

After listening to the interview this afternoon on Satellite Radio channel 161, I thanked God for blessing me by putting me in my car at just the right moment. I have struggled with the feeling of failure because I’m in my late 30’s and I have not yet claimed God’s victory for my life and I run into the temptation to give up because I believe it’s too late. The examples of those who did not begin to see the victory manifest in their lives until their later years was a confirmation to me that it’s never too late. So many things in that interview have inspired me to go out and purchase Mr. Blackaby’s book.
Thank-you and God bless.
