Portraits of Freedom

May 24–25, 2007 - comments: 2

Today on the broadcast our special guest is Bob Davies, the former North American Director of Exodus International, a worldwide coalition of Christian ministries to men and women overcoming homosexuality. The interview that we are going to share today is absolutely vital for someone who is trying to come out of homosexuality or for someone who is trying to minister to those trapped in the lifestyle. While Bob is not with Exodus anymore, the work that he started there, and his time of ministry echoes on as Bob shares his wealth of experience ministering to homosexuals. We were able to meet up with him about his book Portraits of Freedom: Fourteen People Who Came Out of Homosexuality.

topic(s): Family, Sexual Purity, Homosexuality, Issues

I am glad that Bob Davies is spreading this message around the country.  I have a 13 year old son, who is tall & skinny, & is constantly being teased @ school about being gay.  He has heard this so much, he has begun to believe it.  To know that someone else has struggled & has now given the life over to God, is refreshing.  It gives me hope.  I will pray for this ministry to go forward & am willing to help in anyway I can.  To God be the Glory!

God bless you on your great achievments. I will never forget how your approach, God given abilities are such an inspiration to me. Now I can have a calm approach to that issue if need be to speak with about Jesus. Those that have AIDS may they know that Jesus did come here to heal, it didn’t matter how, it matters on the way of the faith excercised. And, those afflicted can remember about Jacob who became obedient to God and wrestled with an angel and got shock to his hip and called Israel. So, God’s plans are something to look and go for, not mine or yours. YEs, may the Glory be to God! Proverbs 22:10!!!!!!!!
