Porn Generation

It’s everywhere, from commercials to New York Times bestsellers to college (and even younger) classrooms. In fact, pornography has become such a part of normal life in 21st century America that many teens and twenty-somethings have had no more important influence. They are the porn generation, and our guest today is among their numbers. Yet, rather than accept its mantras, he has chosen to be a “voice crying in the wilderness,” warning of the devastation that is creeping into the lives of those who have succumbed to the wiles of its enticements.
Ben Shapiro was born in 1984 which makes him a part of the millennial generation. He entered UCLA at 16, and graduated from Harvard Law School in 2007. A nationally syndicated columnist at 17, he faces political liberals head-on. Today he joins us to discuss his book, Porn Generation: How Social Liberalism is Corrupting Our Future.
People’s hearts have to change in order to change their minds and behavior. Ultimately the changing of hearts begins with an admission of a dependence on a Creator. A God who not only loves us, but encourages us by giving us laws and standards which ensure our well being and security. He is a God of love; it is to Him that we turn for true personal salvation and fulfillment.

I listened to this interview this a.m. on the way into work. What a breath of fresh air to hear that there are others out there that feel the same way. I’m so tired of listening to the liberal agenda always being shoved down our throats in every apsect of the hotly debated topics of this generation.
Ben was spot on in every aspect of this interview that it went straight to the heart of the problem (porn, abortion, homosexuality, etc) identified it, and slapped the face of those who attempt to promote it. It’s definitely time to quit placating to the minority, understand our responsibility as Christians to take a hard line on God’s Commandments and push back and not budge on these important topics. I can’t wait to read Ben’s book.

I would love to send this to someone (my husband) who after 38 years of marriage is addicted to porn and we have not separated and seeking counseling. But the facts are that there is no cure. By the Grace of God I am involved with a church which has a Celebrate Recovery Program, but getting him out of denial is the issue.
I would love to send this to him so if you would put me on your email list and send me any information so I can understand the why’s and reason that this has happened and how to help mend our marriage.
Forever grateful.

The broadcast last week with Ben Shapiro was insightful and amazing. This young man is one of the most proficient speakers on the subjects he champions that I have ever heard. I thank my God he is on the side of moral virtue and social purity. I hope the world will listen to his profound arguments.
