Legacy

Oct 20–21, 2005 - comment

Today we’re going to take a look at how God can use the people and circumstances in our live to change us and help us grow.

First we’ll join Dr. Land as he talks with the King of Encouragement! Mr Zig Ziglar, a man who administers huge doses of encouragement all over the world. He joins us today to talk about how God has shaped his life and allowed him to be used in His kingdom.

We’re also happy to welcome Michael Reagan to the program. Michael is a nationally syndicated radio talk show host and is the son of Ronald Reagan. He’s here to share with us some memories of his father and the legacy that they left him.

Our final guest was one of the most powerful men in Washington until Watergate. Then it all collapsed. Within two years he found himself in prison. But God changed Chuck Colson’s life. He’s now a widely known author and the founder of the Prison Fellowship ministry.

Thank you for visiting FaithandFamily.com, a broadcast ministry of The Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention.

Comments are moderated to preserve the family-oriented nature of this website and in an attempt to avoid comment spam. We welcome opposing viewpoints, and we will not turn comments away as long as your views are presented with respect to everyone.

Please follow the these guidelines to insure your comments will be posted:

  1. Use a real name, at least a real first name. We find folks are less-rude online when not hiding behind a screen-name.
  2. Name-calling and vulgar-language will not be tolerated. Zero-tolerance is our policy. We will not spend time editing profanity. If it contains foul language, your post will be deleted. Oh, and we decide what is and what is not vulgar.
  3. Comments must be on topic. Correspondence or general comments (compliments, complaints, and otherwise) are best delivered here or expressed on your own personal Web site.
  4. And please, do not post in ALL CAPS. It looks like you're screaming. :-)

Comments will not appear immediately and are subject to editing or deletion. We will make every attempt to check new comments in a timely manner, though there will likely be delays on the weekends and around holidays. If you wish to keep your comments for your records, please save them on your own computer as comments are not guaranteed to be left up indefinitely.

Other than that, we welcome you and hope to see thoughtful discussions about For Faith & Family broadcasts.
