Learning to Live With the Love of Your Life

Aug 15–16, 2005

Today on the broadcast we welcome back our special guest, Dr. Neil Clark Warren. Dr. Warren is a psychologist with over 30 years of counseling experience. He is co-founder of eharmony.com – a web based ministry dedicated to helping individuals select a compatible marriage partner. He has also written a book titled Learning to Live with the Love of Your Life. . .and Loving It. He joins us again today to help those already married build what he calls “triumphant” marriages.

After the wedding, when the dress is packed away, the flowers have faded, and the rice is swept up, then comes the reality of living with this person whom you’ve just married. Often, therein lies the problem. And that’s what Dr. Warren is here to help us with today.

Whether your marriage is just stale or struggling-or even if you want to make your good marriage even better, let’s all commit to building triumphant marriages. The marriage relationship is designed by God to be a picture of the relationship between Christ and His Church. What better witness to the truth and reality of the gospel of Jesus Christ can we be to a lost and needy world, than to be a reflection of His power and grace in our own marriages.
