I’m sure many of you know what it is like to work hard for a living. However, some believe that there is an alternate plan to hard work…one that consists of risking their money for a chance to hit the jackpot.

Today we’re going to look into the gambler’s world, and try to understand why so many find it appealing. Our guests today are going to discuss what the Bible has to say about gambling and how we as followers of Christ can use our money wisely.

Dr. Scott Thomas joins us to share his experience as a pastor who refused to take a donation of lottery winnings, and explains how the controversy impacted the church and community.

Dr. Gregory Jantz, the Executive Director of The Center for Counseling & Health Resources, is also with us today. He will help us see the dangers in gambling and explain how it can have very harmful effects, not only for the gambler, but for their family as well.
