Gambling

It seems like over the past few generations, the American Dream has changed. It used to be that if you worked hard, you knew you could succeed. Now it has become, if you get lucky, you can sue someone or perhaps, even win the lottery. We have gone from a society seeking to profit from the fruits of our labor to one that seeks to get rich quick and wants something for nothing. What’s more, it’s now easier than ever to be drawn into this mentality. Folks don’t need to go to the racetrack or to Las Vegas anymore to take their chances. They can do it in one-stop shopping when they buy their groceries at the local market-where their State government sponsors the gambling.
Gambling and playing the state lotteries have become an increasingly serious epidemic in America. We have asked our good friend Dr. Scott Thomas, who is a pastor in the state of Tennessee, to join us today. Because, we believe it is very important that our listeners are informed on this subject. Scott has not only done in-depth biblical research on the subject of gambling, but he and his family have experienced first-hand the evils resulting from this problem. I know our listeners are going to want to hear his story…

I am searching for a testimony sharing the effects of gambling on the family, etc. A DVD would be best, I pastor a new church start, have mostly young people who respond better to a visual. I could get it from the internet. Got any ideas?
Thanks,
