Annie Chapman, Sandra Aldrich, and Fern Nichols join us on For Faith and Family today in a special Mother’s Day tribute to mothers.
As we face the challenges and joys of parenting we are more aware everyday of the need for God’s help to accomplish what he requires of us. Annie Chapman joins us to share her triumphs and failures as a Mom, as well as the things that she wants to pass on her daughter who will also become a mother in her own time.
The number of single parents in America continues to grow, so it’s important that we help single parents develop strong families. Sandra Aldrich gives some great advice about how to be a strong single parent, but we also need to support and encourage the single parents we know.
When it comes to the subject of prayer, Fern Nichols and Moms in Touch have become household words. This is the organization which has mobilized moms all over the world to pray for their children and their schools. From a humble act of faith that began quietly at her kitchen table to the mighty ministry which now spans the globe, Fern Nichols has learned, in the trenches, volumes about the power of prayer. She has been a guest with us in the past and today we are blessed to have her with us again on the broadcast to share some of that wisdom she has gained over the years.
