Voddie Baucham on Evangelism

Oct 26, 2007 - comments: 8

Today we’d like to welcome Voddie Baucham to the program. Voddie has become one of the most sought-after Bible teachers in America. And his energy and passion always inspires his audience. So I know you’re not going to want to miss today’s broadcast. He’s going to share with us the importance of evangelism. Not only that…he’s going to help us become more effective at it. Voddie was led to the Lord by a college friend. At the time he knew nothing about Jesus or the Bible…so I guess you could say he has some firsthand experience. Let’s listen in as he speaks at the Southern Baptists of Texas Evangelism Conference.

We’d like to thank SBC tapes for providing the audio of Voddie’s message for us. If you’d like to order a copy of the interview, you can either mail in the order form or call SBC Tapes at 817-656-1258. Just request the Voddie Baucham tape or CD on Monday night from the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention 2005 Evangelism Conference.

Is there anyway to get the transcript of this message, I would like to study it out, in a slowed down form. This message is great, and something I want to share with others.

Thanks

I was passing through Mississippi last night. I do not remember the call letters or town the station was from; but, I do remember it was 92.3fm around 11:22pm on Oct. 26. I was roaming around the radio stations and I only got to hear the end of Voddie’s message. I really enjoyed what I heard and would like to hear more of him.

I heard Voddie on KCBI radio/Dallas yesterday, 10/26/07 and enjoyed it immensely. I wish I had his gift of apologetics; I have family who might finally be convinced by his words.

Very inspiring message!  I was extremely challenged by Voddie’s message.  I am a young African American man (37 years old) with a wife and four children of my own.  My greatest desire (and challenge) is to please the LORD in my personal life by doing what he commanded and by living out my faith before my family and the world.  Living in today’s sensual culture, this is a challenge no doubt, but I do not rest on the “Oh wretched man that I am...” verse in Romans, I go on to “So I thank GOD that w/the mind, I serve the law of Christ”...Please pray for me… God bless You
