Mr. Reagan questioned if people of similar backgrounds would choose abortion or life. He stated that 100% responded that they would choose life. Well, I am an orphaned child and if I were given the choice, I would have choosen abortion. My foster ‘siblings’ would have choosen the same. How do I know? As children,we all thought that being killed once was much better than being killed (abused) a thousand times. Now that I am older, would I make the same choice? Yes. Abuse is lifelong. You may patch it up-but you will remain a miserable patchwork of pain, suffering, insecurity, never-having-enough, sad and broken being. If you are rescued as a child-you stand a better chance. If not, then people will look you in the face and ask you why you don’t measure up. Humm. Yes, I’d rather have been killed once, thank you very much. That being said, I wonder who Mr. Reagan is talking to when he asks this question. I would be interested in knowing.

Very moving. I praise God for the peace in Mr. Reagan’s heart and mind. My heart grieves for so many that have been or are currently being abused. I pray his testimony will bring others to the healing process and to reach out to Christ. My heart goes out to the previous comment from this abused woman. Whoever you are, I’m praying for you. I do wonder if there is anything Mr. Reagan could advise parents and/or grandparents to take note of any possible abuse in their own children/grandchildren’s lives?
Thank you Faith and Family Values for interviewing Mr. Reagan. God Bless you all.
