She said that she was not even a trained therapist and was learning as she went with her son.  It was a great story of faith and hard work.

She also told of telling another mother to let her son die because he was beyond hope.  (Adam?) She agreed with the other mothers decision to let her son die and give up hope on his recovery.

She then told about how terrible it was that Terri Schiavo was allowed to die when her husband gave up hope in her revovery. 

Leone seems to set herself up to judge when someone should give up and if she agrees then it is alright and just. 

I have herad both sides of the Schiavo case and neither side seems to have all of the answers and neither side ever seems to tell the full story.  Which ever side we are on it is always easy to second guess the decision of those involved.

I think there is a difference between Teri , David , and Adam. Adam was dying . He was literlly is the death process . Teri and David were/are not dying. I think Leone explained it pretty well in the book. That is what I understood. Adam was not being starved to death like Teri was!! Teri was very healthy physically. Right there is a huge difference.
does that make any sense without going into a long dissertation ?
May God help us all as we rightly divide truth and error in these important life issues.
