Elena Kagan—Fact Sheet

As the Senate considers the next Supreme Court justice, Elena Kagan, President Obama’s nominee, deserves strict scrutiny during the confirmation process. The Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission is particularly concerned about elements of Kagan’s record that suggest judicial activism, protections for abortion rights and homosexual rights, and restrictions on the First Amendment. I oppose everything I have read that Kagan endorces.  I am not suprised Obama nominated her because he is extremely liberal. I am depressed with America’s current leadership and direction.  All I can say is, “God help us.”
